Welcome to Grande Prairie Confessions.

Having lived in Grande Prairie for most of my life I’ve seen the city come from humble beginnings of an empty field to a never ending supply of oil and gas.

With that comes some interesting culture changes.  We’ve gone from a small Northern Alberta farming community to one of Alberta’s biggest producers of oil and gas leaving far to many people with to much money, toys, and disrespect towards others and the city.

I created this blog out of fun, to enjoy some of the latest stories that caught my interest and to help talk about events, businesses, and most notably the people who make up this city.

A lot of us complain about where we live but it truly is a pretty good place to live, despite my best efforts on this blog to change your mind about that.

I hope you enjoy and if you would like to be featured or have a story published feel free to contact me.
